  小千谷市役所界隈にある飲食店のうちの一つです。
  比較的大きな通り沿いにあるカフェですが、『営業中』というサインが無いと、...  続きを読む閉業しているのではないかと疑ってしまうほどの寂れた外装をしています（『営業中』のサインがあっても利用を躊躇ってしまうかもしれません）。店内は昭和時代の純喫茶を彷彿させるような造りで、基本的に清潔に保たれていますが、客席のクッション等、もはや落とすことが出来ない汚れがいくらか目立ちます。
  各客席にメニューがあり、注文が決まればスタッフを呼び注文し、退店時に会計する仕組みです。店内の客席フロアは東西を分けるようにパーティションが設けられ（自由に行き来が出来るようになっていますが）、スタッフは基本的に厨房がある東側に常駐しています。そのためフロアの西側の客席に座っていると、注文しようにもスタッフの所在が確認しづらいと感じるかもしれません。そのスタッフも、調理・給仕・会計等の全ての業務を少ない人数で遣り繰りしているからか、少し無愛想な印象を持ちます（極めて失礼な態度というわけではありません）。
  給仕される料理の質は、いずれも悪くはありませんが良くもありません。一部の料理は充分に加熱されておらず、そのためか味がぼやけているように感じるでしょう。残念ながら、能動的に進められるカフェとは言い難いです。

  Although the cafe is located along a relatively large street, it has such a desolate exterior that one might suspect that it is closed for business if there is no "営業中 (open for business)" sign (one might hesitate to use the cafe even if there is a "営業中 (open for business)" sign). The interior is reminiscent of a Showa-era pure coffee shop, and while it is generally kept clean, there are a few stains that can no longer be removed, such as on the cushions of the seating area.
  Each seating area has a menu, and when an order is placed, the customer calls a staff member to place the order and pays the bill when leaving the restaurant. The restaurant's seating area is divided into east and west partitions (although customers can come and go as they please), and staff members are generally stationed on the east side where the kitchen is located. Therefore, if you are seated on the west side of the floor, you may find it difficult to locate the staff when you want to place an order. The staff also seems a bit brusque (not to say extremely rude), perhaps because they are managing all operations such as cooking, serving, and accounting with only a small number of people.
  The quality of the dishes served is not bad, but neither is it good. Some of the dishes are not cooked well enough, which may be why the flavors may be blurred. Unfortunately, this is not a cafe that can be actively promoted.  閉じる
