I went and saw Battleship Mikasa to Yokosuka with my parents. My father brought me several times there and explored together... It was a good memory.

Mikasa was built in 1890's and it was the flagship of Admiral Heihachiro Togo during Russo-Japan war. It was used for guard ship during WW1. It was retired in 1920's, but many people wanted preserve it and brought to Yokosuka. It was terrible condition after WW2 because of neglect, and refurbished in 1950's.

It is museum inside. When I was child, it was too difficult to understand, but now to see again and it was interesting. I a little understood why my father liked the ship.

If you draw a line from the top of Mikasa, it would reach to Emperor Palace. Mmm, it was this kind of time...
