After my aunt&#39;s funeral, I visited Ise shrine for the first time. I know it is not so nice to go to trip after funeral, but Kakegawa is not so far from Mie I thought, so I decided to go. However, Mie is a kind of big prefecture and it took much time than expected to arrive.<br />

After my aunt's funeral, I visited Ise shrine for the first time. I know it is not so nice to go to trip after funeral, but Kakegawa is not so far from Mie I thought, so I decided to go. However, Mie is a kind of big prefecture and it took much time than expected to arrive.

  • After Ise Jingu, I walked down the shrine path. There is a cafe which was owned by famous Japanese sweets shop at this area, &quot;Akafuku&quot;(赤福). I ate &quot;Oshiruko&quot; (rice paste in the sweet beans soup).

  • I ate a local cuisine, Ise Udon. There was no soup for noodle, just soy sauce. Mixed with hot noodle and eat. A bit too strong salt taste for me. I actually prefer normal Udon with soup.
