Now I am writing this article in Sarajevo.
Do you know Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina?
In Belgium we have consecutive 4 holidays including national holidays on 11th and 12th.
That's why I came here from before this evening.
Last night I finised my work at 23 PM and I came to office early 6AM this morning to handle my
business! Then I taken Croatian airline and came to Zagreb and here.
In short, this city is beautiful!!
Beyond my imagination and expectation.
This city is different from other European countries.
In this city, there are many major religion such as Isram, Catholic, Judaism...
Also there are many nationality.
And there are oriental atmosphere... it was first time for me.
Also this city has memory of war 15 years ago.
Well, when I walked this old city, I thought that I want to come here again with my loved one.
And I thought that this city can be more fantastic in this season with little bit cold typical European weather.

I wrote above subject this is because I just read Sarajevo's business from Wikipedia.
Today when I walked around the city, I saw many barbar shop and some beggars who seemed Roma. I was wondering what is the main business in this city and this counry.
From Wikipedia, it is said that Sarajevo has business of tobacco, furniture, hosiery, automobiles, and communication equipment industry. And tourism. It was said that the city was one of the top 50 "Best City in the World" in 2006 on the famous Lonley Planet. The city will show us place to skiing in winter season.
By the way, today I walked a lot around this city and taken Tram and went to the Tunnel museum.
The place had been worked as the Life Passage during the war in 90's.
I will mention it next time if I have time.
P.S. Now Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai is broadcasting with local subtitle on local Bosnian TV program!

Today I went to Sarajevo Olympic stadium in the morning.
I watched student football match there.
Besides football ground, there were many semeteries for people died from the war 15 years ago.
Then I went to Mostar by bus, a world heritage and one of the most beautiful place in Bosnia.
After 2 hours and 30 minutes driving, I arrived there before 3PM.
I enjoyed delicious Bosnian food and walked around there.
I bought the book "Sarajevo Marlboro" and some souvenir at shop.
Then I came back to Sarajevo before 9PM and had a dinner at the restaurant of the hotel.
On the way to Sarajevo, I was thinking about the war happened here 15 years ago.
We can see heritage of the war on the wall of house and broken house and so on...
And I thought that happiness to live with loved ones.
Probably, people in Bosnia who has been lived through the war can understand the value of it indeed.
Human beings tend to have non limit desire during their life, however I think that most important thing is we can live with loved ones. We are taking consider it as usual thing but it is not always, not anywhere usual.
Traveling in Bosnia has become precious, unforgetable time for me.

Today I enjoyed time in Croatia.
I got up 4:30am and arrived the Bosnia Airport around 6:00am and came to Croatia before 8:00am. I passed passport check and went to center of Zagreb.
I surprised to see that Zagreb is more beautiful for its road and tram and everything compared to Bosnia, even though Zagreb is located next to Bosnia and they were countries among same federation. Croatia seems to have lots of effect from Italy from the view of food and church and etc.
At here I ate fantastic food!!
It was really delicious.
After enjoying some museum and food and walking around Croatia, I came back to the Airport before 13:00 pm and came back to Brussels around 17:00 pm.
Then I have been watched the DVD which I bought at Tunnel museum at Sarajevo.
I watched it without any comment, silently.
Tears appeared.
And I thought that I had not known about the war entirely, though I have been thought that I understand it to some extent from the experience to visit there in this travel.
But I have not been known, understood and imagined how terrible this war.
Very very terrible footage.
I think I may understand a bit about the war, though I think I never understand it completely.
I want to understand more about it and the reason behind it.
Traveling to Sarajevo has become my start to know it.

I just finished to read the book, "Document ; War advertising agency - information manipulation and Bosnia conflict-" written by Toru Takagi, published by Kodansya.
After visiting to Bosnia last November, I have been wanted to know about Bosnia conflict and found this book.
This book make clear that an American PR company had been done big contribution to rise national interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to make Serbian people and Yugoslavia a bad people and nation when Bosnia conflict was ongoing by strategic PR.
I don't agree with such a business such as strategic PR in international conflicts.
Of course, it is very common and critical for all companies that how to advertise of current business effectively and how to maximize its profit by using more effective advertisement.
However I think PR business among international conflicts and/or war, it is said there are many such kind of PR companies in USA, are not fair and abhorrent to my common sense.
I think again that we should be careful for daily news of international conflicts, foreign affairs from the view of such PR affects to some extent. And I often recall poor Japanese PR capability in foreign affairs, when I read this book.
