春の京都へagain! Kyoto in Spring again!

3年ぶりに春の京都へ行ってまいりました。前回は1日（昼間）のみしか京都観光できなかったので、今回は少しだけゆったり2日間、博紀さんの出張と合わせて観光してきました。実は2月に会社の出張で3日間京都へ行っていたのですが、三十三間堂のお隣のハイアットリージェンシーで仕事をしていたのに、まったく観光する時間もなく、そのリベンジともいえます。
桜には少し早かったのかもしれませんが、咲いているところもあり、初の2人一緒の旅行としては満足できました。

I have been to Kyoto in Spring since 2007. I had only half day for sightseeing the last time but 2days in this time so I can see more sites than last time. This trip is with Hiro who come to Kyoto for businesstrip. I also went there for 3 days on February for businesstrip and worked at Hyatt Regency Kyoto which is next to Sanjusangen-do, but it was for business and I was too busy to have time for sightseeing. It was a bit earlier for cherry-blossom viewing though, there are some blossoms and we were satisfied! It was our first trip!

行きは節約しようと単身京都に高速バスで乗り込みました。6時くらいにつくので、1日フルに観光できるメリットがありますしね。早朝の京都タワーです。京都にきたな〜と実感します。

I was intended to reduce for travelling cost, and I chose to come to Kyoto by highway bus. It usuaaly arrives at 6 in the morning and can use almost whole day for sightseeing. When I saw the Kyoto tower, I really feel I come to Kyoto!

まずは前回と同様、6時から観光のできる清水寺に行きました。三重塔と桜です。

I visit to Kiyomizu-dera for the starter for the day, because it opens from 6 am. It is three storied pagoda with cherry-blossom.

京都観光には清水寺ははずせませんね！

Kiyomizu-dera is surely place for must see in Kyoto!

今回の旅行で1番美しかった桜は産寧坂（三年坂）にありました。見事なしだれ桜が満開で、行き交う人がみな写真をとっていました。前回の旅行ではここまできれいではなかった気がします。

It is the most beautiful cherry blosom in this trip, which is by the Sannei-zaka (Sannen-zaka, three years slope). This is weeping on and almost fully blossomed so every person stopped and took pitures.

和傘屋さんでしょうか…日本らしさを感じる風景ですね。

Is this the shop of Japanese style umbrella, isn't it? This scenery reminds of old days in Japan.

円山公園にある大きなしだれ桜ですが、残念ながら満開というわけには行きませんでした。満開だとすごそうですよね。でも公園にはすでにブルーシートでいっぱい場所取りされてましたよ。

I visited to Maruyama park and saw a big weeping cherry blossom tree, it was not fully blossomed unfortunately... it would be very beautiful and dynamic in full blossemed.

京都市美術館脇の川（鴨川の支流でいいのかしら）にも桜並木があります。これも満開なら…

There is river (maybe a branch of Kamogawa) lined with cherry blossom trees, but they are not fully blossomed again...

平安神宮です。毎度ながらこのアングルで写真を撮りたくなってしまいます。このシンメトリーさが気持ちよいですね。

It is Heian Shrine, everytime I feel like taking picture with same angle! It has beautiful symmentric style!

桜の時期の善峯寺は初めてです。秋に比べ観光客はとても少なく、ゆったりとまわることができました。でもやはりこのお寺は秋の紅葉シーズンがベストのようです。

It is the first visit to Yoshimine-dera in Spring, it is quite less crowded than in Autumn. I could go around with taking enough time, but I believe this temple would be best in Autumn season.

2月の出張時に隣にいながらまったく行くことができなかった三十三間堂を見てきました。圧巻のたくさんの仏像がありました。残念ながら中の写真はれないので外だけパシャリ。

I could visit Sanjusangen-do at last, where I could not go and see on February. There are so so many statues of many gods and goddess, but not allowed to pictures inside...

蹴上インクラインです。こちらは桜はだいぶ咲いており、なかなか美しかったですね。

It is Keage Incline and there are many cherry blossom trees with almost blossomed.

秋の南禅寺は圧巻でしたが、春もなかなかです。満開ならあでやかでしょうね。こちらは人気があるので、観光客も多かったです。

Nanzen-ji was so dynamic in Autumn though, it was pretty good in Spring too.

南禅寺の後方にある水道橋はお寺とはまた違った魅力があります。日本っぽくなくてロマンを感じてしまうデザインだと思います。

There is a water bridge back of Nanzen-ji, it has different attraction to old temples.

後から新幹線で来た博紀さんと合流し、新撰組で有名な壬生寺に向かいましたが、すでに17時を過ぎており閉まっておりました〜。なので、入り口のみ記念に撮らせてもらいました…

I joined with Hiro, who came Kyoto by Shinkansen in the afternoon, and we headed to Mibu-dera, it is famous for its relation with Shinsengumi. But it is too late to enter, so I took a picture of the entrance for visit.

夜はおばんざいをいただきました。1人旅行だと、簡単なとこしか行かないからうれしかったです。はじめに飲んだゆず焼酎がとってもおいしかった〜！！

We went to the Kyoto local restaurant at night. It is the first time for me and we had really good times. I had Yuzu Shochu and it tastes so good!

翌日は博紀さんが早朝より仕事のため、朝から一人で嵐山まで行ってきました。

Hiro went to work in the early morning, and I went to Arashiyama alone.

嵐山から市バスに乗って、大好きな真如堂まで行きました。やっぱり、もみじが美しい秋がベストだと思いますが、春の真如堂もお気に入りです。三重塔と桜です。

I took local bus from Arasiyama to Shinnyo-do, the favorite place in Kyoto! Shinnyodo in Autumn is the best though, I love this place even in Spring too. Three storied pagoda with cherry blossom.

銀閣寺まで行く時間はなかったのですが、真如堂から歩いて哲学の道まで行きました。8分咲きくらいだったでしょうか。

I didn't have time to go to Ginkaku-ji though, I went and walked along Tetsugaku-no-michi (the road of philosophy).

京都駅で博紀さんと合流後、なんと、天皇陛下ご夫妻が帰るところにばったり遭遇！かなり間近で拝見することができました。人だかりも警備もすごかったですよ〜。

After joining again with Hiro, we accidentaly saw Emperor and Empress in the station. There were so many people gathered! Certainly many securities too.

金閣寺です。たくさんの観光客（アジア系、インド系）がいましたね〜でも金閣寺は秋でも春でもあまりかわらない印象ですね…

It is famous Kingaku-ji! There are so mamy people, including Asian and Indian. Kinkakuji is almost same impression in all the time, even in Autumn or in Spring...

龍安寺の石庭も見てきました。こちらもいつも込んでますね…でも待ってでも見るべきですね。ほんとは静かな環境でじっと瞑想するように楽しめればいいとは思いますけどね。

We went to the famous rock garden in Ryoan-ji, where is always crowded, but it is worth to see even you have to wait. I think it might be much better to see and enjoy it in quiet circumstance.

最後に桜で有名な仁和寺に行きましたが、残念ながら仁和寺の桜はまだまだでした。桜があまり咲いてなかったので一番の見所がなかった印象ですね。残念。次回来ることができるならば、あと1週間くらい遅いといいのでしょうね。

For the last place to visit in this trip, we went to Ninna-ji, famous for cherry blossom in Spring time. However, it is too early to visit, there are not so many cherry blossom trees with blossoms... I didin't know what we should see in thie temple without blossoms. If I have chance to visit it again in Spring, I would like to visit a week later.
