When I am traveling abroad, the friend of forginer sometimese says
"Tokyo Japain is most expensive city in the world, isn't it?"

It is not true.

I think price in Japan is cheaper than EU and USA.(off course more expensive then South-East Asia and Latin America.)
So today, I explain the price of Japan about what backpacker often use.
Please know the truth.

1USD = 90 - 120 Japanese Yen

The Price of food.
Some Japanese food is very expensive like "SUSHI".
But there are a lot of reasonable restaurant.
For example, "Yoshinoya" it is a fastfood restrant like MacDonald.
You can eat beef bowl for $3.8.

Tokyo have the biggest subway liles in the world.
You can go everyware in tokyo by subway for $1.6-1.9.

Japane long distance train is very expensive but there are some reasonable bus.

The Price of Accommodation
Most of Japanese hotels are small and clean and expensive.
But there are some Youth Hostel.It cost about $30(domitory)

Small hotel (we call "Business Hotel") it cost $30-60(single room)
