2006年　シンガポール

滞在先：シャングリ・ラ・ホテル・シンガポール
子どもの年齢：こざる７歳２ヶ月　ダーツ３歳１０ヶ月

香港では旧正月になると、学校も会社も数日間お休みになります。
それを利用して、もう一度行きたかったシンガポールへ行ってきました。

こざるが香港で通っていたインターナショナルスクールでは
バートのぬいぐるみをクラスの中でまわして自分の番になったら
ぬいぐるみと一緒にとった写真をつけて日記を書く、
というプロジェクトをやっており、ちょうどこの休暇がこざるの順番となりました。
なのでこの旅行中の写真にはいたるところにバートが．．．。

ということで、今回はバートがご案内します。
こざるの書いた英語版のバートの日記も少しつけてみます。

これからシンガポールへ出発。

Today I, Kozaru and his family were
going to Singapore.
In the morning Kozaru and I played on the
computer while his mum and dad were packing.
We ate lunch at a restaurant
and went on the Airport Express.
When we went to the gate I saw so many airplanes.
Soon it was time to go on our airplane.

飛行機の中で。

When we were on the airplane I used my seat belt.

ホテルに着くと旧正月の飾り付けが。

When we arrived at Singapore
we went on taxi to the hotel.
I had a busy day.

今回泊まったのはガーデン・ウィング。
庭には鯉のいる池がありました。

シンガポールに住むちちざるの友人一家に会いました。
旧正月のお年玉「礼是」をもらって
子どもたちはゴキゲン。

Today Kozaru took me to the Singapore Zoo
but before that we ate breakfast at the hotel.
We ate lunch with my dad's friend's family.
We met their little girl and baby.

再びシンガポール動物園へ。
これはシロサイ。

Then we went to the Singapore Zoo.
First we went on a tramlike bus.
Then we walked.
First we saw the Barbary Sheep.

シマウマ。

Then we saw the Nilghai, then the Sunbear,
then the Camel, then the Maned Wolf,
then the Guanaco, then the Polar bear
and the white rhino.

子どもの遊び場で水遊びをするこざる。

When we reached the Children's World Playground
I watched Kozaru playing in the water
and we had a big snack.

子どもの遊び場には、機関車も走っていました。

ペンギンもいました。

Then we continued walking.
I saw some paper made of elephant dung !
When we went one whole round it was getting dark and I was sleepy.

次はナイトサファリへ。

We went to the Night Safari
and rode on the tramlike bus again.
We saw animals that come out at night
(Nocturnal animals).
I had a great day seeing the amazing animals

翌日はホテルでテニスと．．．

Today we ate breakfast at the buffet
and Kozaru and his dad played tennis.

やっぱりプール！

Then I watched Kozaru swimming in the pool.

バートもリラックス

I had a nice lean on the chair.

ホテルのプール全景です。

プール横のパターゴルフ。

Then I watched them play golf.
I went back to the swimming pool.

オープン・トップの市内観光バスに乗りました。

Later we went to the main city.
We went on a sightseeing bus.

旧正月の市場が出ています。

I watched the scenery while Kozaru was sleeping.

川では夜の花火の準備が。

シンガポールに来たらやっぱりこれは見なくては。

After that we saw the Merlion.

MRT（地下鉄）でホテルへ帰りました。

We went on the MRT (underground train in
Singapore) and walked back home.
I saw a Singapore post box on the way.
I was very sleepy when we were at the room.
"End of a busy day, isn't it," I said.
