ウースター/Worceter

2003/08 - 2003/08

ウスターソースで有名なWorcetrにいってきました。
あまり有名な街じゃないですが、結構大きくて
きれいな街でした。イギリスはロンドンやバーミンガム、
みたいな大都市よりもこういう地方の街のほうが
「らしい」です。

イギリス名誉革命の有名な戦争の舞台にもなったようです。

We went to Worceter that was famous for the source
in Japan. It is not so famous city for foreigners,
but not so small town and has especially very beautiful
scene. In my opinion, it is better for us
to go to such rural cities instead of big cities, like
London and Birmingham.
The famous war occured in Worceter during the revolution
era.

趣があっていいですね。

Frankly speaking, there are not so special
things in Worceter. Actually, it may be
better for us to only relax and feel nice
in Worceter.

We and our common female friend went shopping in Worceter. Actually, I had to wait for them
for a long time... Is it really interesting
to go shopping??? I can not understand, maybe
forever.

いや、まぁ、女性には楽しいんでしょうけどね…
イギリスにいてショッピングかぁ･･･
すみません、愚痴でした。

It is inside of the shop. Could you please
understand that it is really boring for me
to be here... I know, it is interesting for
female to look around there...
But,there is England, so I personally think
that we have other things to do...

Sorry, it is only complaint.

The Worcter Cathedral.

It is so sotisphicated.

ウースターの市庁舎です(？).
きれいです。中に入って、見物してしまい
ました。いや、誰もいなかったんですよ。

It is Worcter city council.
Compared with Japanese one, it seems
so cool. We went inside for sightseeing.
There was none in that building, so we could
enter there so easily.

チーズケーキを買って、持って帰って食べました。
味ですか？まー、ノーコメントということで(笑)。

It is the traditional market in Worceter.
We bought the cheese cake and something,
and ate it in our accomodation.
Taste ? …,ummm, in this time, we had bad impression about English food, it is my answer.
