If you are thinking about surfing on Kuta beach with style, this is the place to stay (along with hard rock hotel). It's right across the beach (1-2 min by walking). The street is crowded with restaurants, hotels, convienient stores, and close to the poppies lane I and II (walking distance). So you can look around and buy things pretty easily by walking.

The hotel is also right next to the big mall. So, this is pretty nice, too.
It's got a good restaurant on the first floor with comfortable stylish sofas, and u can sit down here and drink a cold white wine...etc.

I highly recommend this hotel, but this might not be good for you if you are thinking about "Bali style hotels" or "pool villa bali hotels".
