You can take a S-bahn from Vienna airport to Landstrase(Bahnhof wien mitte) and transfer to U-Bahn. The time is not so different to Cat(City airport train) or Airport bus but cheaper than them. Cat is also going to Wien mitte and have to trasfer to U-banh. But if you carry big, heavy, or many bags, I recommend to take the airport bus or CAT because S-bahn has stairs to get on and you have to open the door by your self. And if it's late night, there is not so many train. It depends on what time you take a train but I always use S-bahn around 11pm.
