新宿の繁華街からやや離れたところにあるからか、1日を通してそれ程混雑している様子は見られず、また客の回転も悪くはないため、最も利用客の多い昼食時間帯でもそれほど待たずに食事をすることが出来ると思います。
入り口付近に設置されている券売機で食券を事前に購入する必要があります。入り口を入って右にテーブル席が1つありますが、それ以外はカウンター席です。客席後ろの通路はそれほど広くなく、また出入り口には段差があるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用はお勧めできません。
店名にもある通り、スープには煮干しをメインとした出汁が使われおり、濃厚な味わいを彷彿させる見た目をしていますが、比較的あっさりとしており、魚介臭さもほとんど無く、また後味もほとんど残らない、という味付けだと感じました。ガッツリとした濃厚な味を楽しむには物足りなさを感じますが、飲み会などの酒宴後の胃に優しい一杯を食べる目的としては丁度いいかもしれません。
スタッフの接客対応も、どの客にも一様につかず離れずの程よい距離感を保った接客で好印象でした。

You must purchase a meal ticket in advance from the ticket vending machine located near the entrance. There is one table to the right of the entrance, but the rest of the seats are at the counter. The aisle behind the seating area is not very wide, and there are steps at the entrance and exit, so wheelchairs and other disabilities are not recommended.
As the name of the restaurant suggests, the soup is made mainly from niboshi (dried sardines), and although it has an appearance reminiscent of a rich flavor, it is relatively light and has almost no fishy smell, and it leaves almost no aftertaste. While it may not be enough to enjoy the rich, gutsy taste, it may be just right for the purpose of having a gentle drink for the stomach after a drinking party or other alcoholic beverage feast.
The staff's customer service also left a good impression, as they maintained a good distance from all customers.
