Izakaya frequented by young people, with delicious dumplings and other a la carte dishes

新宿駅からやや距離があるからか、この店の周辺は昼間は非常に人通りは多いものの夜になるとそれ程多くはない、という印象です。そのためか、夜間も確かに賑わっているものの予約が必須、という程の混雑ぶりではないように思います。
利用客のほとんどが20歳代～30歳代。40歳代以上の利用客はほとんど見かけず（利用した日がたまたまそうだったからかもしれませんが）、友人同士で気兼ねなく酒を呑み交わしながら食事を楽しむ大衆居酒屋、といった感じのお店です。店名に『餃子』とあるものの、餃子の種類が豊富、というわけではありません。チャーシューや麻婆豆腐等の数ある料理の1つ、といった位置づけのように思います。居酒屋らしく、一品料理の数は豊富ですが、フライドポテトや唐揚げといった定番の酒の肴は少なく、一品料理でも味付けなどきちんと拵えられていると思います。各テーブルの上に調味料が配置されていますが、餃子を始め、調味料の活用はほとんど無いかもしれません。給仕された料理のままでも充分に美味しいと思います。
それ程混雑していない時に利用したからか、スタッフの対応も概ね良好でした。料理の給仕のスピードも申し分ありません。一方で、店の入り口は手動の引き戸であることに注意が必要です。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方はやや利用しづらいと思うかもしれません。

Perhaps because it's somewhat far from Shinjuku Station, the area around this restaurant is very busy during the daytime, but not so much at night. Perhaps because of this, the restaurant is crowded at night as well, but not so crowded that reservations are essential.
Most of the customers are in their 20s and 30s, with few customers in their 40s or older (although this may be because the day I visited the restaurant was a coincidence). Although the name of the restaurant has "Gyoza", it does not mean that there are many kinds of gyoza. It seems to be positioned as one of many dishes such as chashu pork and mapo doufu. As is typical of izakaya, there is a wide variety of a la carte dishes, but there are few standard snacks such as French fries and fried chicken, and even the a la carte dishes are well seasoned. Seasonings are placed on each table, but there may be very little use of seasonings, including for dumplings. I think the dishes served are tasty enough as they are.
Perhaps because we used the restaurant when it was not so crowded, the staff was generally very helpful. The speed at which food is served is also impeccable. On the other hand, it should be noted that the entrance to the restaurant is a manual sliding door. Those with disabilities, such as wheelchairs, may find it somewhat difficult to use.
