東シナ海からの強い西風が吹き付ける、荒々しい雰囲気の岬です。帽子などの身に着けているものは吹き飛ばされる可能性がありますので注意が必要です。穏やかさはほとんど無いもののすっきりした空気が西から運ばれているため、とても気持ちよく周囲を散策出来ます。公園内は丘になっており、起伏はあまりないものの道は狭くゴツゴツしているため、歩きやすい靴で散策した方がよさそうです。
やはり何といっても残波岬からの夕日は格別。遮るものがありませんから、岬の岩場に座ってゆっくり水平線に沈む夕日を眺めるのも、とてもいい思い出になるかもしれません。
Strong westerly wind from the East China Sea is always blowing to this cape. You should be careful not to blow off what you are wearing, such as hat. Because strong wind always blows, you may feel fresh air.
The cape park is a hill, but there is not much relief. However, some paths are narrow and rugged, so I recommend you to walk with easy walking shoes.
The time I recommend you to visit here is sunset. You'll catch your breath in the wonderful sunset view that sinks in the unobstructed sea horizon. You'll make wonderful memories!
