東西に細長く伸びた縄張りが特徴の城跡で、他のグスクと異なり、切り立った崖が天然の要害となっており、防衛設備として充分に機能していたことが伺えます。そのため、最上部からの景色は、城の周辺の地形の変化を存分に観察することが出来ます。冬になると城内に咲き乱れるツワブキが鮮やかな黄色が、青い空と緑の草、城壁の灰色に鮮やかさを添えます。夏だけでなく、冬にも訪れても楽しい場所の一つです。
ちなみに城跡の西端に、非常に興味深い廃墟がありますが、私有地且つ危険なため立ち入り禁止です。

The yellow color of a lot of crested leopard blooming in the castle in winter will add vividness to the blue sky and grass green. It is one of the wonderful spot not only in summer but also in winter.
Although there is ruins that excite a feeling of your curiosity at the western end of the castle site, it is a private estate and off limits.
