Day 1
Good morning!
Today, my special trip finally begins!!

6:30 AM
We woke up to my iPhone’s alarm.
I packed my bags and checked my room to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind.
“I haven’t left anything behind!“ I thought, but maybe I had left something special there.

7:00 AM
I checked out of the Hotel and headed to the neighboring Hotel: La Quinta where was our special tour‘s meeting point.
It was a cloudy morning!
My big bag was quite heavy because I had to take everything with me even stuffs that weren’t necessary for the river trip.

7:10 AM
Many groups of people were sitting down ,having breakfast and drinking coffee with their belongings that might be for the river trip.

7:30 AM
We boarded on the bus for Lee’s Ferry.
The bus was large and operated by the National Park Express.
It started to rain.
Yesterday we enjoyed both upper and lower Antelope Canyon under blue skies.
I thought how today’s Antelope Canyon tours went in the rain and how lucky we were.

8:00 AM
On the way to Lee’s Ferry, the bus stopped at Page Airport to pick up additional participants arriving on a small airplane from Las Vegas.
Two groups(two commercial trips ) were on the bus . Approximately 50 participants total.

8:30 AM
After a brief stop at a small grocery store , the bus headed south, passing through Antelope Pass , then north on Route 89A through Marble Canyon. Shortly after crossing the Navajo Bridge, we arrived in Lee’s Ferry where we boarded our boat :Motorized raft.
