22. JACK DANIEL'S STATURE AND SPRING
A stature of Mr. Jack found by the spring where cool, clear limestone water runs free. It was because of this spring that he founded the nation's oldest registered distillery here in Lynchburg.

24. MAKING CHARCOAL AT JACK DANIEL'S
The charcoal we use to gentle our whiskey is burned in the open air. Some folks say charcoal can't be made this way. All we know is we've been making it in the open air since the day Mt. Jack started.

25. JACK DANIEL'S OLD OFFICE
This is the office used by Mr. Jack himself and by his nephew, Lem Motlow. Although it is not used as an office anymore (we built a new one in 1952), it's still our favorite sitting place.
