A day trip to Shosenkyo, 2010

I joined the bus trip to go to Shosenkyo, in Yamanashi. I was curious about big stones and saw it on TV, then decided to go.

It said 昇玉堂（shogyokudo）, there was a pink stone ball in front. But I do not know this building meaning.

Senga-taki. About 30 metro high. Beautiful water.

覚円峰（Kakuenbo）, we usually image this as Shosenkyo.

Shosenkyo is a valley and this river（荒川）runs into Fuji river.

Water was really clear.

I could see the leaves changing color.

天幸五竜神（tenkogoryujin）was next to Shogyokudo. I felt everything looks quite new for tourist.

We ate lunch in Hoto Kaikan by Shosenkyo.

Certainly, lunch includes Hoto noodle.

Close to the Hoto Kaikan, there is a wine shop "Yamanashi wine kingdom", I finished lunch as early as possible, and I went and saw it until bus leaving time.

After the lunch, we moved by the bus and went to another winery, chateau Sakaori. We could join the tour of winery.

In the shop, there were lots of bottle of wine!

They showed us the vineyard too.

Nice color and shape of grapes. It would change to wine:))

At the last place to visit in this tour, it was hottarakashi (Leave alone) hot spring. I did not want to take a bath and waited outside.

Under this roof, there were public hot springs. Most of Japanese really like Onsen, and any occasion , especially after climbing mountains, skiing and traveling, they love to take onsen. I prefer to take bath at home... well different preferences.

I surely prefer them! A cup of beer and a kind of scotch egg.

I also bought a pack of hot pepper and green beans, and small bottle of wine on the way back to Tokyo.
