ブルキナファソ第2の都市ボボ・デュラッソ（Bobo-Dioulasso）の街歩き

首都ワガドゥグから南西へ350km、ブルキナファソ第2の都市ボボ・デュラッソ（通称ボボ）がある。
街のシンボルとしてスーダン様式のグランド・モスクがその威容を示しており、すぐ近くにはかつての街並みを今にとどめる旧市街が広がっている。
隣国コートジボワールのアビジャンへと続く鉄道の駅があるように昔から交易の中心地として栄え、また農業が盛んな土地柄、ブルキナ南部の経済的・文化的中心の役割を現在でも果たしている。
この活気あるボボの街歩きを存分に楽しんできた。
