Kyoto with Julie and Ora

To visit Ora Reed\\\\\\\'s Jazz live and to show Julie, a French girl staying in HKG and visited us for weekend, Kyoto, we made a one night trip to Kyoto.
Arranged a hotel and a taxi, we found it turned out not-ordinary Kyoto visit yet covered tipical places.
1) Nozomi - first time for Shige if not for Julie
2) Hotel - Aranvert in Gojo Muromachi. Clean and spacious but the public bath was horriblly dirty.
3) Prince Hotel Takaragaike for Ora\\\'s Jazz night. Met Ora, had a dinner with her at the hotel, the food was good, then we went out to a bar in a very secret-ic place guided by Ian. The bar was in a residencial area, which will never be noticed, run by an ex Machiya okami-san, yet modern/contemporary decoration. We had a lovely night there.
4) Next day, the booked taxi came to our hotel at 10:30 and we visited Nijo castle, Rock gardens, Golden Temple. Tough Shige and I had been there before, the guide explained well and we enjoyed the tour. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\9800 for three hours + entrance fees and parking.
5) We took 15:00ish Nozomi back to Tokyo.
Then, I went to another re-union party in Shibuya. A tough weekend but was good.

Ora played in a piano room at a bar in Kyoto residential area.
