Starbucks with open space and great views, so it's always crowded

富山運河環水公園内にあるスターバックスです。富山駅前にもスターバックスはあり、こちらの方が駅より距離があるのですが、公園という周囲に高い建物がほとんどない開放的な空間にあり、しかも店の目の前に景色としてよく映える運河があるからか、利用客はこちらの方が圧倒的に多いです。店内・オープンテラス席共に席数は充分にあるものの、比較的利用客が少なく落ち着いてティータイムを過ごせるのは夕方以降で、午前中及び昼過ぎの時間帯は、席を確保することすら至難の業、というくらいに高い人気を誇ります。
屋内の中央部にある大きなテーブル（主に単身者用）に、充電用のコンセントが設置されていますが、利用した日がたまたまそうだったからかもしれませんが、PC等を広げて作業に勤しむ人はそれ程多くないように見えました。一方で、公園の美しい景色を堪能するためか、オープンテラス席の客の回転はよくありません。通勤途中で朝のコーヒーを楽しむ人も多いため、ゆったりと寛ぎながら景色を楽しむには、夕方以降の利用が丁度いいのかもしれません。
給仕されるドリンクや料理の質、スタッフの接客対応の質は、他のスターバックスと遜色ありません。
This Starbucks is located in Toyama Canal Kansui Park. There is another Starbucks in front of Toyama Station. This one is further away from the station, but there are far more customers here, probably because it's located in an open space with almost no tall buildings around, and also because there is a canal in front of the store that makes for a nice view. Although there are enough seats both inside the restaurant and on the open terrace, there are relatively few customers, and it's not until the evening that you can have a relaxing tea time, making it extremely difficult to even secure a seat in the morning or in the early afternoon.
There is a large table in the center of the indoor area (mainly for singles) with power outlets for charging, but perhaps it was just a coincidence that the day we used the table, but there did not seem to be that many people working on their computers and other devices spread out. On the other hand, the turnover of customers at the open terrace is not good, perhaps to enjoy the beautiful view of the park. Since many people enjoy their morning coffee on their way to work, it may be better to use the restaurant in the evening or later to relax and enjoy the view.
The quality of the drinks and dishes served and the customer service of the staff are comparable to other Starbucks.
