日本初のバーとして誕生し百年以上の歴史を誇るバーですが、バーやパブといった雰囲気ではなく、老舗の洋食レストランという印象です。席数は非常に多く、また軽く食事を済ませるだけの客もいるため、回転は非常に早いです。いくつかの大部屋がありますが、個室はありません。またほとんどの席が少なくとも6名以上用で、少人数用の席はなく、また仕切りもありません。混雑時は相席になることもよくありますが、開放的なフロアだからこそ、見知らぬ人とのコミュニケーションが楽しめるのかもしれません。
料理は勿論のことお酒に至るまで、レジで注文して精算する前会計制です。初めての利用客には戸惑うかもしれませんが、注文した料理や酒とそれらの品数が間違っていたり、全く来ないということはまず無いと言っていいです。浅草駅の目の前にありすぐに目につくお店であるため、海外からの観光客の利用も多いですが、見たところ英語等の外国語で書かれたメニューが無いように見受けられます。外国語のメニューがあるかどうかは、スタッフに尋ねるといいでしょう。
お酒も料理も、豪華には程遠く素朴ですが、逆にそれが余計な気を遣わずに済むため、気心知れた仲間とワイワイ語りながら食事を楽しむことが出来ます。神谷バーならではのオリジナルカクテル『電気ブラン』がありますが、アルコール度数は30度と高め。注文する際は気をつけましょう。

On the other hand, there is no private room, and all tables are for 6 people or more. If you come to this bar with a small number of people when it is crowded, you may have meals with others in the same table. On the contrary, it is also good opportunity to be friends with strangers.
You can not order all the dishes and drinks at the seat. You must order them at the cash register in advance. If you visited this bar for the first time, you'll be confused by the system. On the other hand, this system also has merits. It is rare to make mistakes the dishes or drinks, or the number of ordered them.
It is in front of Asakusa Station, and it stands out considerably. Although there are many tourists from abroad, I can not find menu of foreign languages such as English. You should ask the staffs whether they have it.
Either dishes or drinks, are rustic not gorgeous. Therefore, I think that customers can enjoy dishes and drinks with their friends without hesitation. The recommended cocktail is "Denki Blan" which is the original of this bar. However, since alcohol degree is 30, attention is necessary for overdrinking.
