A business trip to Tohoku, 2011 (World heritage of Iwate)

In this business trip, we attended customers and brought them to Chusonji and Motsuji, just registered to World heritage in that year. It was lucky to go for me, even with my job, I could enjoy to see them.

This is 金色堂 (Golden Hall) of Chusonji, in Hiraizumi. It was build in about 1100, some theory said being founded in 850, but there is no proof for it. We were forbidden to take photo inside... The outside building were constructed newly and it was wooden Konjikido inside, which was built in early 12th century.

The statue of Basho Matsuo, famous poet in Edo period. He started the travel around japan with his assistant in the year 1689, 500 years anniversary of end of Oshu Fujiwara clan and death of Yoshitsune Minamoto. When he saw the ex-house area of Yoshitsune converted to field, he wrote the famous Haiku "Natsukusaya tsuwamonodomoga yumenoato" ( The summer grass- It is all that's left of ancient warriors dreams ).

Konjikidokyuhukudo, this building covered Golden Hall before the new concrete building.

We needed to go down long road.

Bell Tower. The bell inside was made in 1343.

Yakushido.

This temple is good for eyes, and selling the wooden plaque written eye "め".

Even there was flag of drawings of eyes.

It is the main building, build in 1909.

And then, we went to Motsuji.

Main building with a incense barner, rebuilt in 1989.

Beautiful garden with pond, this pond was original design, 800 years ago.

Kaizando.

It was written the site of Kashoji.

A slightly leaves changing their colors.

Jokodo, was rebuild in the 18th century.

Beautiful garden... Amazing.

It is nice with shadow of maple leaves.
