Jinan has been changed drastically, in particular at the city centre. However, we can find a lot of things which still remain the same shape as our memory in the Shanda campus or Hongjialou area.

At the 20-year anniversary, I made the first visit to Shanda since my graduation in May 2004. Jinan has been changed drastically, in particular at the city centre. However, we can find a lot of things which still remain the same shape as our memory in the Shanda campus or Hongjialou area.

洪家楼
正面の信号のあたりに｢青年飯店｣があった筈。
右側の建物は郵便局。当時もこの場所にありましたね。

Hongjialou
There was "Flasher's" at the place of the traffic signal.
The building on the right is a post office which has been here since then.
洪家楼
郵便局の右側に、南に伸びる道ができており、山大新校の正門前の道につながっています。こんな道は当時なかった！

Hongjialou
On the right of the post office, there is a road which leads to the main gate of Shanda. There was not such a convenient road at that time.
洪家楼
正面の建物は｢百貨大楼」。名前は今でも変っていませんが、中に入ると当時より売り物が少なくなっています。近くに大きなスーパーができて、寂れてしまったとのこと。
右手の車売り場には、当時映画館がありましたね。

Hongjialou
The pink building is the department store. The name is unchanged but much less goods are sold inside due to an adjacent big supermarket.
There was a cinema where the cars are displayed.
洪家楼から見た教会
教会は以前と変っていません。映画館などがなくなったので、道路からよく見えるようになりました。

The Cathedral from Hngjialou
The Cathedral remains unchanged. Since cinema and other building were demolished, you can see the cathedral very well from the street.

洪家楼から山大老校に入る南門ができていました。そこから老校に入ったあたりから、教会の裏側を写したもの。

A south gate of Shanda Old Campus was made at Hongjialou. This is a back view of the cathedral from the new gate.

ちなみに教会の正面には、当時存在しなかった山大付属高校ができていました。

In front of the cathedral, there is a middle school under Shanda, which did not exist at that time.
｢豆腐脳」屋さん
洪家楼に向かう道には、当時沢山の食べ物屋が出ていましたが、今はほとんど見られませんでした。
大通りから曲がったところでようやく見つけた屋台。5月の滞在中は、2日続けてここで豆腐脳と油条を食べました。

"Doufunao" Restaurants
There were many small hawkers along the street at Hongjialou. We cannot see many now, but I found some at a narrow lane. I ate Doufunao and Youtiao at this hawker every morning during my stay in this May.
