Tsukuba to Moriya by Bicycle (the reverse course of Moriya to Tsukuba written on 2009/12/26)


It was rather warm that morning. Therefore he tried to go on a bicycle tour. Because he gave up to do it the day before yesterday due to cold wind and cloudy weather.

He took a TX train starting from Moriya at 11:03. He stayed N** for 3 hours, while having a lunch by his lunch box and playing baseball during a lunch-time rest.

Starting N** at 15:00, he took a first rest at Mizuho Market, where he had a water, some food and vegetables, small rice balls and a baked sweet potato.

Then he proceeded to Banpaku-Koen Station, Mase district in Tsukuba City and a small Bridge in Kokaigawa-River.

He took a rest at the milestone just passing through Yamato-Bridge, where locates 30 km away from the confluence between Kokai-River and Tone-River and 103 km away from the Pacific Oceans.

Along a cycling road of Kokaigawa-River, he moved about 10 km from the Yayato-Bridge in Joso City to the Joso-Bridge in Tsukuba-Mirai City.

He could safely reach Loc-City in Moriya at 17:20, so it took 2 hours and 20 minutes by bicycle that afternoon.

He said after arriving Moriya "Now I'm here at Loc City. It took 2 hours and 20 minutes from Tsukuba to Moriya today. It was clear and wind was not so strong. We could luckly see a beautiful silhouette of Mt. Fuji with sunset."
