1.We arrived this hotel around 10:00 Dec-30th, of course too early to check in but we took earliest arrival at port however our turn was the last in a group among other customers for check in process.
2.Front lady said they would call to our mobile phone number whenever it is ready. We are waiting till 13:30 but no calling from front desk, other customers who did same check in group were coming out from room then we went to front to give complaints, we found our key had been ready at back side table of front desk but they told a lie that right now our room is just available. She cannot say sorry even 1 time.
3. When we reached at room, we found that most of amenities are not set in room, toothbrushes, shaver, etc, bath gel bottle also broken we called guest relations but till checking out, nobody changed broken bottle.
4. On 31st /Dec, we planned to going out from hotel to city for sight seeing and dinner at local restaurant however boat from hotel to city is end at 16:00 and final boat from city was 20:30, it’s too early to manage otherwise we have to pay 1900 THB ++/1pax min w/o drink for new year dinner and half board ticket which we bought at 3531THB/2pax was not available to use to pay at same value we paid. In order to enjoy new year dinner, additionally we have to pay 2400THB/2pax It means we have to pay total 5931THB for 2 pax for new year dinner which normal price is 3800THB/2pax.
5. On Jan1st, as I told, Half board price is 3531 THB for 2 Pax, however we could not choose restaurant, only 1 restaurant named LOTUS was available with limited meal which is exactly same as menu items, we try to choose high value food by checking normal menu in this restaurant however total cost referred in menu is 1690++ THB !!!! For 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts. Like a fraud transaction and I complained to staff however he said that all guests who bought half board are same condition, if we need more, we can order as extra charges with smiling. He also told that we can give comments at front desk. I believe that pre-booked or pre bought meal should not have such big disadvantages compared to normal menu. At least we contributed sales for this hotel in advance however big loss as fraud level is coming back to us, totally wrong.
6. When we took breakfast in Lotus restaurant on 1st Jan, we took salad and found romaine lettuce have many mud on leafs!!! Which is super dangerous volume of mud were on leaves for sanitize point of view, as a trigger of food poisoning.
Please do not buy meals half board and full board in Centara group hotels, I strongly recommend not to stay this hotel , I believe that management of this hotel was destroyed.
I was member of Centara hotels and loved Centara Grand Hua Hin, which was so nice for me to stay however I totally disappointed this brand after Centara Grand beach resort hotel and villa Krabi which is 5 star hotel, most famous hotel in Krabi.
