上野駅にも御徒町駅にも近く、上野駅と御徒町駅をつなぐ商店街の只中にあるため、利用者も多く特に午後は常に混雑しています。純喫茶特有の、落ち着いた照明と居心地のいい店内の空間もあってか客の回転も良い方ではありません（特に休日）。周囲の商店街が常時喧噪であふれかえっているため雰囲気そのものとしては気持ちを落ち着けるのにピッタリですが、混雑時は買い物客で溢れかえり、そこかしこでお喋りで花を咲かせているのであまり気を休めることは出来ないかもしれません。
一方で、サービス及び給仕される料理やドリンクの質はとても高いです。このような混雑する環境を熟知しているからか、手間取るような様子も無く、テキパキと注文から会計まで処理します。料理やドリンクの味は勿論、盛り付けも派手過ぎず且つ見た目も楽しめるさりげない盛り付け方に好感を持てます。
素晴らしい喫茶店ではありますが、利用する時間帯をあらかじめ計画した方がよさそうです。

The cafe is close to both Ueno and Okachimachi stations, and is located in the middle of the shopping street that connects Ueno and Okachimachi stations, so it is frequented by many people, especially in the afternoon when it is always crowded. Because of the cozy atmosphere with subdued lighting characteristic of a pure cafe, the turnover of customers is not good (especially on holidays). The atmosphere of the cafe is perfect for calming down as the surrounding shopping area is always busy. However, when the café is crowded, it is overflowing with shoppers from the shopping mall, and you may not be able to relax much because of the chattering everywhere.
On the other hand, the quality of the service, food and drinks served is very high. Perhaps because all staff is familiar with such a crowded environment, they handle everything from ordering to paying the bill quickly and without any signs of hassle. The food and drinks taste great, and the presentation is not too fancy, but still visually pleasing.
Although it's a great coffee shop, you might want to plan your time of use in advance.
