建物自体は他の神社と変わりは無いのに、この神社には不思議な雰囲気が漂っています。鳥居から拝殿に向かう道の真ん中に『百度石』が置かれています。神仏に祈願するために百度参拝するために置かれている石で、他の神社や寺院にもありますが、この神社では常時誰かがこの『百度石』を回りながら祈願しています。また、近鉄奈良駅から神社へ向かう参道には、様々なレストランや売店が建ち並びますが、その中でも夥しい数の占いの店があります。何故沢山の占いの店が開業しているのかの理由は分かっていません。
神社だけでなく、参道を含めた他の神社にはない不思議な雰囲気を楽しむのも醍醐味の1つかもしれません。

Between the Torii gate and the hall of the shrine, a "Hyakudo-ishi stone" is established. If you visit the shrine 100 times while going around this stone, it is said that your wish comes true. It is found not only at this shrine but also at other shrines and temples. But, in this shrine, there are always visitors who are going around the stone with enthusiasm. It may be hardly seen in other shrines and temples.
There are also many shops and restaurants on the approach from Kintetsu Ishikiri Station to this shrine, and many of them are the houses of fortune tellers. No one knows why there are so many houses of fortune tellers. It may be good to experience the strange atmosphere that other shrines do not have.
