A short trip to Osaka after business trip, 2010

I actually did not remember which date I went, but in April, I went for the business trip to Osaka. It was my first time to go there. I wanted to eat real Osaka Kushiage there.

I did not have so much knowledge of Osaka, so speaking of Osaka, I thought it might be Osaka castle, so I went there first. It was view of the Osaka Business Park from the road.

Originally, Osaka castle is built by the order of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, after the site of Ishiyama Hongan temple. But after the death of Hideyoshi, Ieyasu Tokugawa opened the Edo government and attacked Toyotomi, burnt down this castle with those clans. I thought the history of this castle finish in 1615. But in Edo period, it was reconstructed, but the end of Edo period, it burnt down again in confusion. The current one was reconstructed in 1930's mostly.

For memory...

This building was the base for the Imperial army in Japan in war period. Afterwards use for police department and museum. At the time I visited, it was Osaka municipal museum.

I went to Shinsekai after the castle. So many drinking places!

I went to Kushiage Izakaya "Yokozuna". I absolutely enjoyed!
