One day bus trip to Minobusan

I joined the one day bus trip to Minobusan (Yamanashi ken). It was the good season with cherry blossom. I sometimes like to join this kind of easy bus trip.

First, we stopped at the station "Katsunuma Budo kyo".

There is a path with cherry blossom. It was the best time to visit there, I guess.

This is "Oohinata Tunnel", made in early 20th century, and it made easier to transport grapes and wines at that time. Now there are new tunnels and stop to use this one. And then they use this for walking path and wine carves etc.

The old train was reserved, but I do not have knowledge of trains and have no idea it is really important train or not:P

We visited Monde Ltd. (モンデ酒造）and saw the wine brewing.

We could have free tasting... serving like this. Mmmm, I prefer red wine in not too cold temperature... But generous.

We went somewhere flower producer or restaurant, and we had lunch there. I do not remember where... but nice with canola flowers and peach blossom.

It would have been "Hoto", local cuisine in Yamanashi. Black noodle was not usual...

And then, we went to Minobusan.

Minobusan Kuonji (身延山久遠寺）was made originally in late 13th century, but most of the buildings were made new after 1980's because of fire in 19th century. This pagoda was built in 2008, but looks not so new, nicely built.

There was a kind of festival.

Kids played Japanese drums.

Amazing cherry blossom tree.

There was a small gate along the road to the parking lot. Nicely moss covered.
