西武秩父駅に隣接する日帰り専用温泉施設で、施設内には温泉だけでなく、土産物店やレストランもあります。
この施設は非常に合理的で、出入口にあるシューズロッカーの鍵が付属されたセンサー付きバンドが、施設内の全て（温泉利用、レストランでの飲食、土産物の購入）の利用料の会計を担っています。出口に設置された会計専用のマシンのセンサーにバンドをかざすことで、全ての会計を済ませることが出来ます（会計が済まされないと外に出ることが出来ません）。
駅に直結する温泉施設であるだけに利用しやすく、また建物の外観はとても目立ち、平日でも夕方になると登山の帰りのひとっ風呂利用などでかなり混雑します。それでも浴槽の数や温泉の種類（炭酸温泉やジェットバスなど）は比較的多めで、イモ洗い状態になる機会はあまり無いと思います。一方で（特に内湯は）床がところどころ滑りやすいため、小さな子供は目を離さないよう注意が必要です。露天風呂は武甲山などの遠望や新緑・紅葉などの季節ならではの景色が楽しめる一方で、夏でも夕方以降になると比較的外気は冷えるため、特に屋外の寝ころび湯の長時間の利用は、身体を冷やすかもしれません。
休憩エリアにはマッサージチェアが約50脚あり、また専用のマッサージルームもあるなど、観光やハイキングで疲れた身体をほぐすにはピッタリの施設もあります。レストランは、わらじカツ丼やそばなど、料理のメニュー、味付けや盛り付けは典型的なものばかりですが、料理を堪能する時は既に心も身体もリラックスしているため、あれこれ考えず料理を堪能するには丁度いいかもしれません。
秩父の市街地には魅力的な施設や飲食店が多くありますが、もしあれこれ迷った際の選択肢の一つとしてお勧めできると思います。

This is a day-use hot spring facility directly connected to Seibu-Chichibu Station. In addition to the baths, the complex also includes souvenir shops and restaurants.
The facility operates on a highly efficient system: a wristband with a built-in sensor - linked to your shoe locker key at the entrance - is used for all payments inside, including the hot spring, dining, and shopping. At the exit, you simply scan the wristband at a payment machine to settle everything at once (you cannot leave until payment is completed).
Because of its direct connection to the station and its prominent exterior, it's very easy to access and often becomes quite busy, even on weekdays - especially in the evening when hikers stop by for a bath after their trips. Despite this, the facility offers a relatively large number of baths and a variety of options (such as carbonated baths and jet baths), so it rarely feels overly crowded.
However, some areas of the flooring - particularly in the indoor baths - can be slippery, so extra care is needed, especially with small children. The outdoor baths offer scenic views of Mt.Buko and seasonal landscapes such as fresh greenery and autumn foliage. That said, the outside air can become cool in the evening, even in summer, so staying too long in the outdoor reclining baths may cause you to feel cold.
The relaxation area includes around 50 massage chairs, as well as a dedicated massage room, making it an ideal place to unwind after sightseeing or hiking. The restaurant serves typical local dishes such as Waraji Katsudon (pork cutlet bowl) and Soba. While the menu and presentation are fairly standard, the relaxed state you're in after bathing makes it easy to simply enjoy the food without overthinking it.
Chichibu has many appealing attractions and dining options, but if you're unsure where to go, this facility is a reliable and convenient choice.
