Quiet mountain temple - serene atmosphere, few visitors, ideal for reflection

長瀞や秩父など、休日には多くの観光客で賑わうスポットから離れている寺院であるからか、平日は勿論休日も訪れる人が少なくとても静かである。近くを通る国道140号線の車の往来は決して少なくはないが、どこか遠くのことのように聞こえ、ただ静謐で夏場でもひんんやりとした空気を感じることが出来るだろう。
境内はそれ程広くはなく、周回するだけであれば10分程度で済む。あたかも代々受け継がれてきた名家の庭のような雰囲気を漂わせるが、参拝目的であれば自由に立ち寄ることが出来る。近隣の山々や自然の中のハイキングコースの途中にあるため、お手洗いを借りたり休憩目的で利用する登山客もいる（但し、腰を掛けるベンチはお手洗いが設置されている場所しかない）。
本尊として不動明王像が本堂内に安置されているが、誰もが気軽に見られるものではない。ただ静かに参拝するのが一番だろう。

This temple is located away from popular tourist areas such as Nagatoro and Chichibu, which are often crowded on weekends. Perhaps because of that, it remains very quiet, with relatively few visitors even on holidays. Although National Route 140 runs nearby and traffic is not light, the noise feels distant, allowing you to experience a calm and serene atmosphere. Even in summer, the air here feels noticeably cool.
The temple grounds are not very large and can be explored in about 10 minutes. The setting has an atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional private garden that has been carefully maintained over generations, yet it's open to visitors who wish to pay their respects. As it lies along hiking routes through the surrounding mountains and nature, some hikers stop by to use the restroom or take a break (though benches are only available near the restroom area).
A statue of Fudo Myo-o (Acala) is enshrined in the main hall, but it's not always open for public viewing. This is a place best appreciated through quiet and respectful contemplation.
