川越の大正浪漫夢通り沿いにある、大正時代から昭和初期の昔懐かしの雰囲気を醸し出す純喫茶です。梁・柱・テーブル・椅子に至るまで木材を活用した落ち着いた雰囲気の調度品を使い、またそこかしこに置かれている小物類や手作り感溢れるメニューが、一層タイムスリップしたかのような雰囲気を漂わせます。
給仕される料理やドリンクは、盛り付けなどの見た目は奇を衒ったものはなく典型的なものばかりですが、内装が昔を懐かしむものだからと言って味付けまでそうではありません（きちんと現代の人向けの味付けになっています）。ドリンク・デザート・トースト・サンドウィッチ共に種類が豊富ですが、特にコーヒーに力を入れており、多彩なコーヒー豆を用意しているのが分かります。淹れたてのコーヒーもしっかりとローストされており、香りも深みがあり充分に楽しめます。
周辺の飲食店にしては比較的夜間まで営業しているので（それでも19時までですが）、川越観光の最後に楽しむ場所として利用するといいかもしれません。

Located along Taisho-Roman Yume Dori in Kawagoe City, this is a pure cafe that creates a nostalgic atmosphere of the Taisho and early Showa eras. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the use of wood for beams, pillars, tables, and chairs, as well as small articles and handmade menu items placed here and there, which create an atmosphere as if you have stepped back in time.
The food and drinks served are typical in appearance and presentation, but just because the décor is nostalgic for the past does not mean that the seasoning is (it is seasoned to suit the modern palate). There is a wide variety of drinks, desserts, toasts, and sandwiches, but special emphasis is placed on the coffee, with a wide variety of coffee beans available. The freshly brewed coffee is also well roasted and has a deep aroma that is fully enjoyable.
The cafe is open relatively late into the night for restaurants in the area (although it's still open until 7:00 p.m.), so it may be a good place to enjoy at the end of your visit to Kawagoe.
