濃い黒色をしており、味付けも独特の、非常に個性的なカレーを食べることが出来る、100年近く続く老舗のカレー専門店です。一口～二口食べただけでは好みは分かれるかもしれまない、と思うかもしれませんが、食べれば食べる程やみつきになる味だと思います。
トッピングは、ポーク・ビーフ・チキン等の5種類のいずれか、という非常にシンプルです（ハヤシライスもあります）。ランチタイムは連日のように混雑しており、基本的にテーブル席しか無いため、1人や2人客の場合相席になることがあります。そんな状況を長年経験してきたからか、スタッフの注文から給仕の速度はとても早く（しかも盛り付けは全く雑ではありません）、客に水をサービスするタイミングも絶妙で、しかも終始丁寧で全く問題ありません。
地下にある店には階段のみで昇降するため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方や大きなカバンを持つ方は利用しづらいでしょう。また会計も現金のみであることに注意が必要です。
It is a long-established curry specialty restaurant that has been around for nearly 100 years, offering a very unique curry with a dark black color and unique flavor. One or two bites of the curry may be made you think that it's not everyone's taste, but the more you eat, the more addicted you will become.
The toppings are very simple: pork, beef, chicken, or any of the other five toppings (Hashed beef rice is also available). The restaurant is crowded every day at lunch time, and since there are basically only tables, one or two customers may have to share a table. Perhaps it's because all staff has experienced such a situation for many years, but they are very fast from ordering to serving (and the serving is not messy at all), and the timing of serving water to the customers is perfect and polite all the time.
The restaurant is located in the basement and is accessible only by stairs, making it difficult for people with disabilities such as wheelchairs and those with large bags to use. It's also important to note that only cash is accepted as payment.
