古い酒蔵を改装して作られた和食レストランです。広々とした空間で天井も高く、とても開放感があります。高さのある仕切りもなく、レストランのフロア全体が見渡せます。なかなか店員が来ない、気づいてもらえない、といったことはあまり無いと思います。その代わり、見たところ4人席が最小で、1人席や2人席、カウンターは無い模様。1～2人では少々利用しづらい、という印象です。
料理の種類や盛り付けは、いわば典型的な和食レストランの定食そのもので、川越市特産の芋等が使用されていることを除き、特筆すべきところはありません。定食の量は一人分にしては少々多めの印象。そのため、サイドメニューを頼む場合は、種類と数を考慮する必要があります。
本川越駅から徒歩で2～3分程度の立地や、お土産屋が併設されているところも魅力の一つです。川越で食事をする際の候補の一つとして挙げておくといいかもしれません。

There is an impression that it is hard to use with a small number of people.
The type and arrangement of dishes are them of a typical Japanese restaurant. Except for the use of special products of Kawagoe city such as potato, there is nothing special to mention. The amount of set meal is rather high.
The other attractions of it is that it is located 2 or 3 minutes on foot from Honkawagoe station, and that a souvenir shop is parallel established. I think that it may be good to be listed as one of the restaurant to eat at Kawagoe.
